Green Mountain Trails in Pittsfield, VT is about 1/2 hour away from Rutland.

Killington, VT about 20 minutes away from Rutland.

Slate Valley Trails are new as of 2016. These folks are doing a fantastic job in getting some very cool trails in the Poultney area. Plus a lot of great gravel roads to ride. Poultney is 1/2 hour away from Rutland.

Manchester, VT is 45 minutes south of Rutland. They are working on a very nice trail system in the Dorset area. Combine riding Slate Valley trails with NATS trails system in one day and you will have a great day of riding. Poultney and Dorset are only 30 minutes apart via Route 30. http://app/public.natsvt.com/

Ascutney Trails are expanding every year. There is something here for every rider. This trail system is also known as STAB. Ascutney is about 45 minutes away from Rutland.

Millstone near Barre, VT has some very unique topography with the granite quarries. Millstone is about 1.5 hours from Rutland.

Of course the Kingdom Trails in E. Burke, VT is what most folks hear about. E. Burke is about 2 hours from Rutland.

Further north of  Rutland near Burlington, Fellowship of the Wheel as 11 different areas they build and maintain for outdoor enthusiasts.

Warren, Waitsfield area about an hour from Rutland has a great trail system including Blueberry Lake which is located in the Green Mtn National Forest.

Stowe, Waterbury area is about 1.5 hours from Rutland and has some really terrific stuff to ride.

Upper Valley Mountain Bike Association which includes parts of VT and NH. Boston Lots now has a very cool map and signage to go with it. http://uvmba.org/

Quebec has some fantastic riding as well just north of us. Check out Vallee Bras du Nord. The Kingdom trails folks have helped them design and helped build some fantastic riding.

Our state wide organization VMBA (VT Mountain Bike Association) has printed a great state wide trail map and is a great resource for what Vermont has to offer for outdoor recreation.
